WelcomeNational Capital Homes, a Northern Virginia based custom homebuilder was started in 1998 by John C. Gurnee. John brought to the company over 20 years of home building experience. He began as an assistant superintendent and worked through the ranks to become vice president before deciding to start National Capital Homes. The main focus of National Capital Homes is to provide a quality home that projects the individual needs and personality of each customer. The company has three different programs, Building on Your Lot and Remodeling, that can meet the needs of our customers in their pursuit of a dream home. The first of these is our Semi Custom Home Program. This program allows the customer to choose from one of our available home plans. We currently have 20 base floors plans and are constantly working on the development of more plans. The home plans can be modified to meet the customer’s needs by selection of standard available options or custom options developed by working with our architect. The Semi Custom Home Program is a great option for clients that find starting with a completely blank slate too overwhelming. Typically a home purchased in this program will be completed around 6 - 8 months after start of construction. National Capital Homes’ Custom Home Program affords customers the opportunity to custom design a home using our architectural services. The home options are almost limitless when using this program. Customers provide a list of the features they want in their home and a general idea of what type of elevation they prefer. The architect then begins the preliminary design and NCH provides sketches to the customer for approval before any architectural working drawings are produced. A home purchased under the Custom Home Program will usually be completed between 6 and 8 months after start of construction. Financing Available:  |
